Unclasped opens

08 February 2016

The arts world gathered at the Hellenic Museum last Thursday night, as the cultural institution presented a preview of its international exhibition Unclasped.

Featuring 22 emerging and established artists, the exhibition opened to the public on Saturday, after a behind-the-scenes artist talk with jeweller Danae Natsis on Friday afternoon.

Unclasped is an exhibition of contemporary jewellery objects, bringing together and examining the practices of twenty-two artists of Greek descent currently working in Greece, Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Cyprus and Australia.

Presented as part of this year’s Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival’s Cultural Program Project Series.
