DISCOVER  A WORLD OF RENEGADES AND ARTISTS, MUSIC AND LIFE.

Melbourne, Vic- After sell out shows in 2015 and 2016, the island is back by popular demand. Running for just two performances in March 2017, Hydra: Songs and Tales of Bohemia weaves music, song, documentary footage and narrative to recreate the Zeitgeist of the Greek island of Hydra in the 1960s.

Melbourne, VIC - You'd think Benaki Museum conservators Elefthereia Goufa and Naoum Kokkalas are famous celebrities when they step on the tarmac at any given international airport. SUMMER ARTS LONG WEEKEND

March 7 - 10, 2014

Melbourne, VIC – The Hellenic Museum and Greek Film Festival announce the Summer Arts Long Weekend. Situated within the leafy confines of the Hellenic Museum at the former Royal Mint Melbourne, the festival will take over the garden courtyard with four days of the contemporary arts, complete with Pagoto, the pop-up café and bar by Con Christopoulos (The European, Neapoli, Siglo). The program brings a selection of contemporary visual and performing arts from Australian and international acts to grace the stage. From theatre, to comedy, music, a family program and artists’ panel, the line-up is a choreographed dive into contemporary Greek culture today.

Melbourne, VIC – The Hellenic Museum and Greek Film Festival announce Con Christopoulos’ first pop-up, Παγωτ? to run along side of the inaugural Summer Arts Program at the Hellenic Museum. Located in the private garden courtyard of the former Royal Mint Melbourne, the program will convert the space into an outdoor cinema on Saturday evenings from 1 February to 1 March, screening classic films from Greece’s golden era of movie production. The program culminates with the Summer Long Arts Weekend, a festival of visual and performing arts over the Labour Day long weekend, 7 – 10 March.
