INSPIRING PASSION FOR GREEK HISTORY, ART AND CULTURE
The Hellenic Museum was founded in 2007 and our mission is to inspire Australians about Hellenic culture from the ancient to the contemporary.
Occupying one of the country’s landmark sites in the former Royal Mint building, the Hellenic Museum continues to be a prominent cultural destination in Melbourne.
The Hellenic Museum is focused on building artistic partnerships with Greek and non-Greek artists, reimagining Greek culture through a contemporary lens.
By bringing together multiple artistic disciplines and perspectives, the Hellenic Museum aims to present a holistic experience of Greek culture and the contribution it has made, and continues to make, to contemporary society.
