The Hellenic Museum, in conjunction with Juggernaut Entertainment and Premier Partner Intralot Australia, is proud to present George Dalaras in Concert.

George Dalaras is one of Greece’s biggest contemporary music stars and a living legend of the music industry. Rising to early-career fame for reviving rembetika – Greek blues – he is driven by a desire to share this unique sound with the world, and in doing so has built an international reputation as an icon of Greek music culture.
Over five decades, he has released 70 albums; sold more than 20 million records; played over 500 shows around the world; and collaborated with music heavyweights including Sting, Peter Gabriel and Bruce Springsteen, among others.
Now, Dalaras will travel to Melbourne to perform an exclusive benefit concert in celebration of the Hellenic Museum’s 15th anniversary, Saturday 20 May 2023 at Margaret Court Arena.

George Dalaras in Concert is an exclusive benefit concert in support of Australia's only Hellenic Museum, which this year celebrates its 15th anniversary.
All proceeds will support the Hellenic Museum to continue preserving and sharing the wonder of Hellenism for future generations; deliver world-class exhibitions and programs; and enter a new chapter of growth and evolution. Every ticket sold lays a brick in the foundation of our next 15 years.
The Hellenic Museum is a public, not-for-profit museum — and the only museum in Australia dedicated to showcasing the transformational power of Greek art, history and culture. Our mission is to share the prolific impacts of Greek history with all Australians, and to reimagine and recontextualise Hellenism in new and exciting ways.
The Hellenic Museum is deeply connected to its diasporic roots, and committed to providing opportunities for Australian audiences to engage with Hellenic culture. As such, it is fitting that the Museum will celebrate 15 years by gathering Hellenes and philhellenes alike, at this special performance by Greek superstar George Dalaras.
