Adults and youths of all abilities are invited to explore the Hellenic Museum's collection independently or with a Museum Guide. We invite you to request a guided visit led by trained Museum docents by using the following form: Community Group Visit Request Form.

GODS, MYTHS & MORTALS GUIDED TOUR
Guided tours of the Gods, Myths & Mortals exhibition offer excellent opportunities for your group to make the most of their encounters with over 8,000 years of Greek civilisation at the Hellenic Museum. Museum docents guide you to look at and talk about art, sharing ideas while discovering details about what you see.
Guided tours last 60 minutes; feel free to continue exploring the galleries with your group on your own after the tour!

How many persons can be accommodated at one time?
Groups of up to 20 people can be accommodated at one time.
My group includes persons with special needs. Should I use the online request form?
Yes, the Museum welcomes persons of all abilities. When filling out the Community Group Visit Request Form, please let us know what accommodations we can provide in order to meet your needs.
Do I need to book if I am bringing a self-guided group?
Self-guided groups are very welcome but we do require you to make a booking. Booking ahead for a self-guided visit will allow us to provide you with current information to assist with planning your visit, including details about exhibitions, entry and admission fees, and cloaking.
Can we pay upon arrival or do we need to pay in advance?
Payment is expected upon arrival for self-guided visits. Payment can be invoiced for guided visits. The following admission fees apply per person:
Self-guided $5 Concession / $10 Non-Concession (both fees include exhibition entry)
Tour-guided $10 Concession / $15 Non-Concession (both fees include exhibition entry)
How do I reschedule or cancel a confirmed youth group appointment?
All requests to change or cancel existing appointments must be made via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your name, telephone number, name of organisation, and date and time of your visit. If you need to reschedule or cancel a guided visit, we kindly ask for as much advance notice as possible so that we can assign your guide to another group.
How do we get there and when?
See our location map here. If you have a booking for a group visit, we recommend that you arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled booking to give you time to cloak any bags and help organise your group.
Do you have a place for buses or large vans to park at the Museum?
There is charter bus parking on the North Side of the Museum. We recommend referencing our location map here.
If we schedule a guided visit for a specific time, may we arrive earlier and look around on our own?
Due to the number of groups scheduled throughout the day, we ask that you arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time. Your group is more than welcome to explore the rest of the Museum after your scheduled visit.
Do you have lunchroom facilities? May we eat in the Museum's hospitality offering?
Unfortunately, the Museum does not have indoor lunchroom facilities. Bag lunches can be stored while you are in the galleries, as no food or drink is permitted in gallery spaces. We encourage groups to picnic in the neighbouring Flagstaff Gardens or to purchase lunch from Grounds of Arcadia located in the Museum's private courtyard.
Is photography permitted?
Groups are allowed and encouraged to take photographs, (no flash please), and are free to post them on their social media platforms of choice.
