The Hellenic Museum, as part of its ongoing support of contemporary artists, has collaborated with illustrator Natalie Rompotis and lifestyle brand Salt&Pepper to create limited edition mugs reimagining a selection of the mythical muses of poetry, astronomy, dance and music.

In ancient Greek mythology, the Muses were nine goddesses who embodied the arts, sciences and literature. They were considered to be the source of the knowledge found within lyric songs, music, poetry and myths. Euterpe is the muse of music, song, and lyric poetry. Her symbol is the aulos, a double-flute instrument, and she is said to have inspired poets and dramatists.

Please note that these mugs are not microwave or dishwasher safe. Please handwash only.

Each mug comes in its own circular black box with gold detailing.
