Hera is the wife of Zeus and is one of the twelve Olympic Gods. As the patron goddess of marriage, her husband's love affairs fill her with anger and rage and she bears a strong grudge against his illegitimate children. Among her attributes are the crown and sceptre, signs of dominion, as well as the peacock and pomegranate. One myth states that Hera put the eyes of the hundred-eyed shepherd Argos on the feathers of the peacock after his death and that this is how peacock feathers got their eyes.
The set contains a 7cm tall Hera with crown, sceptre, peacock and pomegranate.
