Vital Vases: The Archaeology of Ancient Greek Ceramics
Students explore what pottery tells us about ancient societies by investigating the changing form, function and design of pottery from Neolithic to black- and red-figure pottery. Students examine ceramics using historical and archaeological thinking, decode vase paintings and handle ancient ceramics to interpret their socio-historical significance.
