One of Melbourne's most breathtaking private dining rooms, the Henson Gallery houses ONEIROI, a permanent exhibition by Australian photographer Bill Henson.

The opulent feel of the space is complemented by the artist's use of lighting, creating an atmospheric environment bridging the gap between dream and reality.

The Henson Gallery is located on the second floor of the Hellenic Museum and can seat up to 60 guests.

GARDEN PAVILION +
EASTERN COURTYARD

200 BANQUET | 180 THEATRE | 500 COCKTAIL (50 MIN.)

Opening for events from 1 November 2026, the Hellenic Museum's new purpose-built Garden Pavilion is set to become one of Melbourne's most distinctive event venues.

Located within the Museum's historic courtyard gardens, the Pavilion has been thoughtfully designed to complement the heritage character of the site while providing a contemporary, flexible space for weddings, gala dinners, corporate events, cultural celebrations and cocktail functions.

Combining a premium indoor event space with beautifully landscaped outdoor courtyards, the Pavilion offers a unique setting in the heart of Melbourne's CBD.

Hidden behind the Museum's historic walls, it provides an exclusive garden oasis just moments from the city's legal, business and entertainment precincts.

The Garden Pavilion creates a versatile and memorable backdrop for events of every scale, marking an exciting new chapter in the Hellenic Museum's rich history.

IRIS ROOM

10 BANQUET

The Messenger is a spectacular work by internationally renowned Australian artist Sam Jinks. Inspired by the Greek goddess from the west pediment of the Parthenon, Jinks' Iris is on permanent display at the Hellenic Museum.

Kneeling before a black, reflective pool, the Iris Room ensures a unique and intimate dining experience unlike any other. Share the room with ethereal Greek mythology and experience the divide between the contemporary and the ancient recede. Suitable for a small party of 10 guests.
