Yannis Tsarouchis 1910-1989

Catalogue accompanying the exhibition of the same name, which was organised by the Benaki Museum and the Yannis Tsarouchis Foundation (19 December 2009 – 14 March 2010), on the occasion of the centenary of the birth of this artist, who made such a deep impression on Modern Greek painting. The exhibition, the first major retrospective of his oeuvre in Athens, included a large number of paintings and stage design models covering all his creative periods, with the aim of providing an overall impression of his contribution to art.
