Ancient Myths: Epic Worlds

In this workshop, students explore the epic, humorous, tragic and insightful world of ancient Greek myths. They will investigate what ancient myths are and the purpose they served in Greek society – as moral codes, explanations of the cosmos, and part of ancient religion. Participants will handle artefacts, investigate how visual art elements represent mythical stories and invent their own mythic story.
