Event Details

Join the Hellenic Museum and Louise Seymour, paper flower engingeer and the founder of PaperLab, as we create everlasting floral wreaths inspired by the blooming of spring, the power of love and memory, and the myths of Aphrodite and Adonis.

Explore the myth of Adonis and Aphrodite with the Hellenic Museum, then be guided by Louise from PaperLab as she teaches you papercraft techniques to construct many of the plants associated with these mythological figures – including anemones, red and white roses, myrtle, myrrh, apple trees, lettuce and pomegrantes. Draw inspiration from this ancient myth, history and even your own loved ones, as you craft your preferred plants and bring them together. Come away with new papercraft skills and a completely unique, everlasting wreath to wear or display!

Tickets include all materials, and Museum general entry before or after the class.
