About

Join us these school holidays as we explore the epic world of ancient board games, and learn to play like a Greek warrior, Egyptian Pharaoh and Chinese scholar!

Discover ancient warrior battle strategy and culture by playing the ancient Greek game Petteia and Chinese game Go. Then, try your hand at Egyptian Senet – a mysterious game that reveals the passage to the underworld.

By playing ancient games, and inventing your own labyrinth escape game, we will discover how and why board games were played across ancient societies.

Ideal for young explorers aged 7–13.
