Event Details

Make a splash this summer, as we dive into the water-powered wonders of the ancient world!

Meet the Greek, Egyptian and Roman inventors who made waves with history's first hydraulics; find out what chocolate fountains and the Leaning Tower of Pisa have in common as you build and test an Archimedes' Screw; and keep your cool as you race against your own ancient water clock, deciphering riddles before the last drop.

Ready to dive in? This hands-on workshop is ideal for young explorers aged 7–13, and is part of the Hellenic Museum Argonauts Club school holiday program, Argo Adventurers: Hands-On History!
