Event Details

Minotaurs, Gorgons and Hydras, oh my! In this hair-raising school holiday workshop, young explorers will step into the world of ancient Greek mythology and meet some of its most famous and fearsome creatures. After being introduced to these legendary monsters and their roles in Greek myth, kids will then be invited to get creative and embrace their inner monsters, crafting monster masks to take home. Will you turn foes to stone like Medusa, become a slithery Hydra, or invent a monster all your own?

This hands-on school holiday experience is ideal for ages 7–12. Tickets include general entry to the Hellenic Museum on the day – including the current family exhibition, Michael Zavros: Gods and Monsters!
