About

Join one of our guided tours and explore 8,000 years of Hellenic history with a Hellenic Museum curator. Our public tours last for one hour and guide you through our God's, Myths & Mortals exhibition (featuring treasures on loan from the Benaki Museum in Athens).

The God's, Myths & Mortals collection includes pottery, statues, jewellery, art, manuscripts, costumes and weapons. Through these objects you can discover the influences, and influence of, Greek civilisation.

You will have the opportunity to ask the curator questions about the Museum and its collections, discover the history of the former Royal Mint building and see the award-winning architecture of our M-Pavillion. After the tour, we encourage you to explore our other exhibitions and collections housed over two floors and the front lawn of the Museum.

Guided tours run on the first Saturday of each month and can be booked through our website. Tours are presented in English. Please note, bookings for our tours close 12pm the day prior.
