Magic and Medicine Masterclass

Join us in this special workshop to discover ancient herbal medicine and magic that was used by ancient Greeks to learn about diseases, ward off illness and keep their homes clean.

Come face to face with plants that the first physicians (doctors) such as Hippocrates (the ‘Father of medicine’), Dioscorides and Galen wrote about in their medical works. 

Then we will experiment by writing a magical incantation to promote health (just like the Greeks and Egyptians did), make our very own hand cream potion with ancient herbs (e.g. mint, lavender and juniper) and create a protective amulet.
