Stones, pebbles, shells, glass, brick and ceramics – over the centuries mosaics have been made from all kinds of materials. Mosaics are designs created by using small pieces of stone or other materials and have been used to adorn ceilings, floors and walls of ancient Greek buildings, Roman fountains and even Mexican sculls.
Are you curious about mosaics, do you want to uncover the secrets of this mysterious ancient craft and create your own intricate masterpiece? Then this is the holiday workshop for a budding artist like you! Join us to craft your own mosaic and encounter a vibrant and colourful world of patterns, geometry and inspiration.
