About

Join the Hellenic Museum for a tour of the much-lauded exhibition Open Horizons: Ancient Greek Journeys and Connections at Melbourne Museum.

Exclusive to supporters of the Hellenic Museum, Assistant Curator Sara Prica will lead a tour through this special collection from the National Archaeological Museum, Athens.

Open Horizons features 44 ancient works that date from the Early Bronze Age to the Roman period, some of which are being exhibited in Australia for the first time. Together these artefacts create a journey through ancient Greece, exploring how the trade of ideas and goods influenced Greek culture and in turn, the ancient world.

This exhibition must close 14 August. Do not miss your opportunity to view these ancient artefacts with exclusive insight from a Hellenic Museum curator.
