About

Join us these summer school holidays to explore the epic world of ancient board games, and learn to play like a Greek warrior, Egyptian Pharaoh and Chinese scholar!

Discover ancient warrior battle strategy and culture by playing the ancient Greek game Petia and Chinese game Go. Then try your hand at Egyptian Senet – a mysterious game that reveals the passage to the underworld. By playing ancient games, and inventing your own labyrinth escape game, we will discover how and why board games were played in ancient Greece, Egypt and China.

Perfect for: Young explorers aged 7-12

Choose from two dates: Sunday 9 January or Thursday 13 January 2022
