Celebrate the festive season with Seasonal Scents: Yule, a special holiday edition of the much-loved workshop series presented by the Hellenic Museum and Greek-Australian fragrance house THEMATIKOS.
Set in the beautiful surrounds of the Hellenic Museum, this unique experience blends history with hands-on craft, beginning with a historian's introduction to the traditions surrounding candles, fragrance and seasonal rituals in ancient Greek life – from midwinter rites and sacred offerings, to the warming comforts of scent and light during the darker months.
Then, settle into the sublime surrounds of a transformed gallery space as THEMATIKOS artisans guide you through the process of blending your own bespoke eau de parfum. Drawing on a selection of holiday- and historically-inspired scent profiles, you’ll create a signature fragrance to be bottled, named, and labelled by you.
Whether you're gathering friends for a day of festivities or treating yourself to a creative escape, Seasonal Scents: Yule is a joyful way to connect with history, ritual and the senses, and ease into the Yuletide season.
