Event Details

Want to try drawing but not sure you have the skills, or don’t know where to start? Join artist Marco Luccio at a relaxed workshop designed to introduce non-drawers to sketching as a practice for health and happiness.Sketching for Sanity,

In this laidback 90-minute session, Marco will walk participants through a series of fun and experimental exercises designed to kindle creativity, reset understandings of what ‘making art’ can look like, and break down mental barriers that prevent people from starting or maintaining a creative habit. The goal is simple: don’t worry about drawing ‘well’, just focus on putting pencil to paper!

By leaving pressure at the door, participants can focus solely on drawing for fun and happiness, coming away with a newfound appreciation and enjoyment of sketching for wellbeing, and foundational skills to continue learning.
