These school holidays, discover the ins, outs, twists and turns of the ancient Greek myth of the labyrinth!
Join the Hellenic Museum as we learn all about the mythology surrounding this incredible structure. Together we'll explore the historical origins of the myth, the different versions that existed in the ancient world, meet central characters and interpret artefacts in the Hellenic Museum collection. Then, make your own wings of Daedalus and Icarus using real beeswax, before entering and solving a labyrinth set up in the Museum courtyard!
This kids' school holiday workshop is ideal for ages 6–13. Tickets include all materials, and Museum general entry after the workshop.
